On the 15th of November 2012, exactly one week before Thanksgiving, AmericanPoverty.org, in partnership
with Columbia College Chicago and Calumet Photographic, will open an exhibit of photographic and multimedia
essays from across the United States. Produced by America?s premier photojournalists, the work will highlight the
struggles and dreams of impoverished Americans, as those with little join those with a little more to give thanks.

Please join us for the opening reception on
Thursday November 15 from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM.

? About AmericanPoverty.org: We are a non-profit alliance of photojournalists using visual storytelling to raise awareness
about the plight and potential of the least fortunate members of our communities. Joining us are renowned American
writers, filmmakers and educators, all of whom seek to make poverty alleviation a national priority. During the Great
Depression, photographers created riveting images that helped mold the nation?s collective memory and conscience.
Seventy years later, we are doing it again.
